Quetta – July 11, 2025 — Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has pledged an uncompromising crackdown following the abduction and murder of nine bus passengers on Thursday evening, labeling this act of state-sponsored terrorism and vowing to dismantle all associated terror networks.

Gunmen ambushed two passenger buses traveling from Quetta to Punjab along the N-70 highway near Sardhaka near Zhob-Loralai border and forcibly removed ten individuals after verifying their ID cards – targeting passengers from Punjab.
